학교소개
영국 잉글랜드 북부에 위치한 셰필드 대학교는 셰필드 의과대학 (1828년 설립), 퍼스 칼리지 (1879년 설립), 셰필드 기술 학교(1884년 설립)가 전신이다. 1897년에 이 3개의 학교가 연합하여 유니버시티 칼리지 셰필드가 되었고, 1905년에 University of Sheffield 로 승격되면서 지금의 셰필드 대학교가 되었다. 세계적으로 우수한 것으로 정평이 나 있는 연구 대학으로 러셀 그룹의 일원이다.
