오늘은 2021년  Newcastle University(뉴카슬 대학교)에 입학을 앞둔 학생들을 위해 중요한 업데이트 소식을 전달 해드리려고 합니다

먼저 학교에 대해 간단하게 안내드릴께요 ^^

Newcastle upon tyne에 위치한 Newcastle University(뉴카슬 대학교)는 런던에서 비행기로 1시간, 기차로 3시간 거리에 위치하고 있습니다.

뉴카슬 대학교의 모든 학교 기숙사는 학교 캠퍼스까지 도보로 이동이 가능하며 평균적으로 도보 10분 거리에 위치하고 있습니다.

대학 캠퍼스는 뉴카슬 시티센터와 인접하여 이동이 편하고 대부분의 건물이 1860년대에 지어져 고풍스러움을 자랑합니다.

예비과정 기관인 INTO Newcastle 또한 뉴카슬 대학교의 캠퍼스 내에 위치하고 있어 예비과정 학생들 또한 본 과정 학생과 마찬가지로 시설의 이용이 가능합니다.

뉴카슬 대학교는 각각 말레이시아(Medicine)와 싱가포르(Engineering) 그리고 런던에 캠퍼스를 갖고 있습니다.

뉴카슬 본캠퍼스의 경우 아래와 같이 세 개 단과로 나뉘어 있습니다.

1. HaSS: Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
2. SAgE: Faculty of Science, Agriculture & Engineering
3. FMS: Faculty of Medical Sciences

해당전공으로 지원하신 분들은 반드시 체크해주세요

MSc computational Neuroscience and Neuroinformatics

- 3월 15일 오퍼홀더 및 지원자들에게 해당 안내 발송

- 3월 26일까지 학교 측에서 제시한 옵션 중 선택하여 회신 완료해야 함

MA International Political Economy

- 지원자들에게 학교 측에서 안내함

- 3월 31일까지 학교 측에서 제시한 옵션 중 선택하여 회신 완료해야 함

아래는 학교의 안내 원문입니다.

Course Suspensions 2021 Entry  

The University has taken the decision to suspend our MSc Computational Neuroscience and Neuroinformatics programme for 2021 entry, we will be informing applicants and offer holders of this suspension on Monday 15 March.

Students holding offers for this programme will have a number of options, they must inform the University of their decision, by Friday 26 March:  

• transfer their application to our MSc Bioinformatics for 2021 entry (we will guarantee their offer of a place on this course for 2021 entry) 
• defer their application to September 2022  
• withdraw their application to study at Newcastle University 

In addition to this suspension, we have also suspended our MA International Political Economy programme for 2021 entry. Applicants and offer holders have been contacted to inform them of their options, they must inform the University of their decision, by Wednesday 31 March: 

• transfer their application to one of the following courses 

• MA Internatinal Politics (Critical Geopolitics) 
• MA Internatinal Relations 

• MA Wrld Politics and Popular Culture 

• Withdraw their application to study at Newcastle University
