1967년도에 설립된 캐나다 온타리오 주에 있는 셰리던 대학교는(Sheridan College) 남부 온타리오 중심부에 있는 오크빌 시에 위치한 메인 캠퍼스는 토론토에서 30분, 나이아가라 폭포까지 45분 걸린다. 셰리던 대학은 온타리오 대학 중에서 높은 취업률을 자랑하고 있다. 셰리던 컬리지 프로그램은 co-op과 인턴쉽 기회를 주는 등 체계적인 커리큘럼으로 탄탄한 실습과정으로 많은 기업체에서도 좋은 평가를 받고 있다. 졸업생들은 현재, 디즈니 에니메이션, Dreamworks, Pixar Canada, 에서 에니메이션 작가, 감독으로 일하고 있으며, 사진작가, 일러스트레이터, 아트디렉터로 일하고 있는 졸업생들도 많다.

기숙사: Oakvile 캠퍼스 내에 2개의 기숙사 건물이 있다. 시설이 좋은 편이라 학생들의 만족도가 높다. 국제학생은 4월까지 신청하면 된다. (9월 학기일 경우)
캠퍼스환경: Oakvile, Brampton, MNississauga 세 곳에 캠퍼스를 운영하고 있으며 아트 전공은 모두 Oakvile 캠퍼스에서수업이 진행된다. Oakvile은 토론토 다운타운에서 기차나 버스로 30~40분 정도 거리에 떨어져있으며 캐나다 내에서 살기좋은 도시 중 하나로 손꼽히는 부촌 지역이다. 토론토 대학, 요크대학, 브릭대학 등과 연계되어 학사학위 취득을 원하는 학생들에게 기회를 제공하고 있으며 학생 편의 시설에 투자를 아끼지 않는 학교로 유명하다. 최상의 첨단 센터는 학생들이 급변화 하는 작업현장에 성공적으로 적응하는데 필요한 기술 개발에 많은 도움을 주고 있다.
