Masters in Big Data at Royal Holloway
We are delighted to announce that our three new Masters programmes in Big Data, to be run by the Department of Computer Science and including options with industrial placements, have now been fully validated and approved.
We still have places on these programmes for 2013/14, so please could you forward this information to any of your students who may be interested in applying.
- “Big data (is) the next frontier for innovation, competition, and productivity" (McKinsey Global Institute 2011)
- "Skilled data scientists are in short supply and high demand" (The Economist Intelligence Unit 2012)
- Students can choose a one-year programme or a two-year programme with an industrial placement
- Applicants need the equivalent of a good upper-second class degree in Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related subject
