오늘은 미국 EC 학원의 New Branch Open 소식을 전달해드리겠습니다!
2012년1월3일부터는 기존의 뉴욕, 보스턴, 샌디에고, 샌프란시스코 센터에 이어
마이애미(Miami)와 로스앤젤레스(Los Angeles)에서도 EC 를 만나보실 수 있답니다! ^^
EC는
지중해 몰타의 본사를 두고 있으며, 미국 이외에도 영국, 남아프리카에도 많은 센터를 두고 있는 대형 그룹학교입니다.
본사가 유럽 국가 중 하나인 몰타에 있다 보니, 몰타뿐만 아니라 다른 국가의 센터에도 유럽인 비율이 높다는 것이 장점이며, 미국의 사설 어학원에서는 찾기 어려운 Cambridge 시험 준비 반도 운영하고 있습니다.

“Annyeonghaseyo! My name is Mardy Arenas and I will be the Center Director of EC Los Angeles. I have worked at EC Boston and EC San Diego and am very excited about being at EC Los Angeles as well to welcome new students. I enjoy learning about different cultures and have done extensive travelling in Asia. In fact, one of the countries I visited was South Korea, and all of my best memories have to do with the delicious food, especially bulgogi and kimchi! I look forward to creating a wonderful experience for all students in our beautiful new Santa Monica location.”
이미 EC의 보스턴과 샌디에고 센터에서 많은 경험을 하고 오셔서, 새로운 로스앤잴레스 EC 센터도 잘 운영하실 것 같네요^^
한국에 방문하셨을 때 가장 인상 적인 것이 김치와 불고기라고 하니, EC 로스앤젤레스 센터에서 공부 하신다면 교장 선생님과 함께 한국 음식을 드시는 것도 좋을 것 같아요

Greetings from Miami, “Miami e Euoso Oseyo!!!” My name is Amanda Ross-Gomez and I am the Center Director for EC's beautiful new school in Miami Beach, Florida. I look forward to welcoming many students to this unique tropical paradise! I have worked in the ESL field for more than 10 years in Japan, California and now Florida, as both a teacher and a manager. I have travelled extensively and love meeting students from all over the world. I understand the challenge of learning a new language and culture, and I understand students' what students need and expect from their study abroad experience. I strive to make all my students comfortable and happy so they will leave Miami with positive memories to last a lifetime!
일본과 미국에서 10년 이상의 경력을 갖고 계시다고 하니 마이애미에서의 활약도 기대가 되네요^^
