특이학과는 재즈 학과가 있음.
TV프로그램 ‘위대한 탄생’ 출연자, 가수 셰인이 험버대학에서 현대음악을 전공했음.

학교소개

토론토시에 위치한 험버 컬리지는 온타리오주에서 손꼽히는 공립대학이다. 비즈니스와 관광, 디자인, 공학과 미디어 등의 125개의 다양한 직업 관련 정규과정과 대학 진학 과정, 여름 영어 연수 과정, TESL등의 프로그램을 제공하고 있으며 국제 학생들을 위해 기숙사를 운영하고 있다. 1967년도에 설립 2003년 온타리오 정부로부터 “institute of Technology and Advanced learning”으로 지정되었고 약 150여 개의 풀타임 프로그램을 운영 하고있다. 또한 실무적인 요소가 강화됨으로써 학생들에게 다양한 실무 기회를 제공한다. 다른 어떤 대학보다도 4년제 학사과정의 수업이 많이 있을 만큼 교육의 질이 굉장히 높은 대학이다.
